What is the difference between windmill transformer and distribution transformer?

And difference between windmill power system and distribution system? What should be focused when designing windmill transformer?

The transformer design for a windmill application is different to that for a standard distribution transformer. In a windmill application the system conditions such as voltage, frequency and thermal loading cycle, generally have a much wider operating bandwidth when compared with a transformer installed on a distribution network. There are also system parameters, such as DC injection, transients and harmonics, which need to be analyzed since they can also affect the design of the transformer. In addition, dimensional or footprint constraints for some windmill applications mean that the use of high temperature aramid insulating material often has to be used to meet the thermal performance requirements.
