I’m getting wind turbines and solar panels connected to my distribution grid and the voltage is rising. How can I get the voltage under control ?

ABB's answer

Besides adding additional cables or overhead lines there are mainly two solutions which can be realized much faster and at lower costs:
- use of a line voltage regulator. It is available for MV or LV grids. Depending where it is placed it adjusts either the voltage of a single feeder or the whole distribution grid.
- use of a voltage regulating distribution transformer which adjusts the voltage in the LV grid. The ABB’s product is called Smart-R.
