What bearings shall I use?

Marko Sydanlammi

ABB's answer

SKF CARB bearings are ideal, as they eliminate axial forces and adapt to misalignments. It should be noted though that SKF CARB bearings must rotate to relax axial forces completely. SKF CARB bearings are to be used at one end only. Cylindrical roller bearings or self-aligning spherical ball bearings can also be used. Fix at one end and allow the other end to slide in the bearing house.
