Why does a Modular System have some advantages over a Standalone System ?

Carlo Kufahl, Product marketing

ABB's answer

i) The System can be sized to the immediate load & increased by adding Modules as the requirement increases, this can be stated a “ pay as you grow “ ii) The system is inherently redundant & the MTTR will be reduced by a large time factor due to fast and efficient service concept. iii) Modules are used as building blocks for various types and power ratings of UPS systems, thus allow the standardization of power protection, which in turn offer many benefits.
