Replacing a Magnos 3 Magnetic Oxygen Analyzer with a comparable device.

Hi, I'm interested in locating a replacement O2 analyzer for a Magnos 3 magnetic oxygen analyzer.

ABB's answer

Our current model Magnos 206 still uses the same basic principle of measurement as the old Magnos 3,  with quite a number of operational updates.

Basically our Magnos 206 module is available in support of two analyzer product series from ABB,  our AO2000 Advance Optima and our EL3000 EasyLine. The Optima is our premier product line, with a number of expanded capabilities for logic processing and automated analyzer control.  It is available in a package with is CSA approved for installation in hazardous locations, Class 1, division 2.  The AO2000 is a modular concept, with a single common control unit capable of operating with all of our different analyzer module types. The EasyLine is similar in principle, but with fewer control and automated features, and is only available in general purpose location package.   It also is in a smaller, less complex housing which allows a bit more purchase economy.
