Yes, a Double-Acting Valve Positioner can be used on a Single-Acting Valve Actuator or on a Double-Acting Valve Actuator.

    I recommend to the customer the following configuration: : V18345. (double acting positioner, output fail safe, HART, mechanical position indicator and analog position feedback)
    The double acting TZIDC can be used for single acting actuators as well, if you plug the output #2 of the positioner.
    Customer advantage: Reduce the Variants of Positioners in your maintanance-stock. All other features are retrofitable at any time.
    Note: The same principle is applicable for the PositionMaster EDP300.
