ABB's answer

Hello Khalil, can you tell me what model ABB positioner you have, I assume TZIDC? but please confirm.

The Positioner can be used as Linear or Rotary but this is selected before you do the autoadjust, the positioner will adapt to the actuator accordingly. The positioner range for Linear is 0-60 degree shaft movement and for Rotary it is 120 degree (for TZIDC rev3 and 270 degree for TZIDC rev 5)

Changing from Linear to Rotary or from Rotary to Linear you do that by doing a new Autadjust, but note the selection of Linear or Rotary must match your actuator type.

Let me know if you have any further quistions.
